In this presentation you’ll learn about engaging activities to enhance social-emotional learning (SEL) research-based curriculums. Focusing on creating a holistic educational experience, we’ll delve into various extension activities to supplement The Zones of Regulation®, Kelso’s Choice and Second Step® content. Activities shared include: hands-on, object lessons, books, videos, online quiz platforms, PowerPoint games, craftivities and traditional card and board games transformed for SEL fun! You'll leave with a wealth of resources ready to enrich your school counseling program. After this presentation, you’ll be able to: 1. Understand the distinctive elements and objectives of The Zones of Regulation®, Kelso’s Choice and Second Step® curriculums 2. Implement engaging SEL activities for different grade levels and for all three tiers of intervention (classroom instruction, groups and individual counseling)
