Childhood Trauma in the Classroom
Description
Participants will learn how trauma impacts a developing brain, behaviors that one might see in a classroom, and how to create a trauma-sensitive classroom environment for children who've experienced trauma at school and elsewhere. They will receive resources they can use to further their education on this topic. This session provides background information for "Sexual Abuse Prevention at School," though each session stands alone.
