Sexual Abuse Prevention at School
Description
This session builds upon the "Childhood Trauma in the Classroom" session, though this session stands alone. Participants will learn about different types of sexual abuse, examine different myths and facts about sexual abuse, learn about grooming and other tactics of offenders. Additionally, they will be encouraged to create plans to prevent sexual abuse at school, deal with disclosure, and teach children about sexual abuse at different grade levels. Examples of different plans will be provided.
