Description
This session offers an engaging introduction to avalanche awareness and snow science and how the Friends of GNFAC can bring these concepts into 5-8+ grade classrooms. Education Coordinator Elana will give participants an overview of programs we teach and demonstrate an activity used with students. Educators will leave with ideas and opportunities to bring avalanche science experiences directly into their schools, aligned with the topics they are already teaching.
