Tia is a German educator in her fourth practicing year. Thanks to her early involvement with language learning at the Twin Cities German Immersion School, German language and culture have become a lifelong fascination. In her classroom, Tia values local and global community, cultural context, and creativity. As she grows in her profession, Tia is interested in learning more strategies for place-based learning, and writing/illustrating her own graded readers inspired by summer adventures abroad.
