Jessie Novak is a K-12 art teacher and artist in rural Noxon, Montana, where she fosters creativity and a passion for the arts in her students and community. Holding a BA in K-12 Art Education and an MA in Integrated Arts and Education, she also serves as a mentor with MentorMT, helping educators statewide enrich their programming and build confidence through creativity.
An award-winning, internationally published artist and educator, Jessie spent seven years in museum education at the Missoula Art Museum, where she developed and implemented educational programming for both youth and adults. This experience adds a unique perspective to her work in the classroom, where she emphasizes the art-making process, experimentation, and the study of both historical and contemporary artists.
