Jan Clinard taught English at the high school and middle school levels, worked as the English Language Arts Specialist at the Montana Office of Public Instruction, directed the Montana University System Writing Assessment for the Commissioner of Higher Education, and managed Career Pathways and grant programs for Helena College. As a retiree, she serves on several committees, writes, and participates in a variety of leisure activities.
