Emily Sallee
Speaker Bio
Emily Sallee is an Assistant Professor of Counseling at the University of Montana as well as the Executive Director of the Montana Safe Schools Center, also housed at UM. Her research interests include adolescent suicidality, non-suicidal self-injury, and school violence and prevention. Emily has been a school counselor for the past 15 years and is currently the super part-time counselor at Woodman K-8 in Lolo, while also balancing a small clinical practice where she works exclusively with youth. Emily serves as the Board Chair of the Montana School Counselor Association, the President Elect for the Rocky Mountain Association for Counselor Educators and Supervisors, and a member of the Montana Youth Justice Council.
