Things to know before attending.

Where do I get my badge?

You must have a badge to attend sessions.  Check-in is located in the Big Sky High School Gym.  

During the session, you will get a session code.  Write down the session code to enter into your session evaluation. 

You will also be scanned when leaving the session.  

Under My Conference Tab, go to Virtual Session View. you must be registered for the virtual session for it to appear on the page.  Click  "VIEW SESSION" button.  It will take you to a waiting room until the session starts. 

Yes, you may. You will need to login to your registration  account.  Go to My Conference under the menu select session selection.  Check and uncheck your selections.

Using the conference mobile app go to schedule find the session you want to add, click the details link, on the right hand bottom find the timer icon, tap and tap the + to add.  

To remove a session go to your agenda, select session, find the timer icon and tap, then tap the - to remove.

Highly recommend for In-person attendees.  Keeps the conference at your finger tips.  Notifications will be sent through the conference app.

Registrants will need to download the Attendee Mobile app from either the App Store (Apple) or the Google Play (Android) store. Once they have downloaded the app, they can search for the event by name or use the scan option and scan the QR code that is provided when the app is made available in Attendee Mobile.

Place your self on the sessions waitlist.  You will be added to the session if it becomes open.  This action will remove you from the 2nd choice session. 

We recommend you join a virtual session that is in progress or go to the Theater for the keynote speaker.  

Don't panic.  Complete the evaluation with the other details. 

Ask the scanner helper at the door to add you to the session when they scan your badge.  

Evaluations will be available after the session on the Evaluation page under My Conference tab.  These will only appear if you attended the session.  

Presenter vouchers are emailed to the lead presenter at the end of the conference.

No, virtual sessions are not available for download. 

You are only allowed to be 10 minutes late for the virtual session. You may be blocked from entering after that time period. 

You will only receive renewal units for one session during a time period. 

Yes, contact us or you may add virtual sessions during the conference. 

Or, choose to modify my registration on the confirmation page. 

You may, but if the session is full you may not get a seat.  We highly recommend making an agenda.  

I attended a session that wasn't on my agenda.

Add the session to your agenda, so that you receive the evaluation for the session.

Our wonderful scanner helpers can assist you by adding you to the session when they scan your badge. 

Return to the registration area to get a replacement badge.

Add it to your agenda, it will then appear on your view virtual session agenda.  Enjoy your session!

No, you must be registered for the session to have a seat.  You will be turned away if the session is full.

Yes, to get your renewal units you must submit an evaluation for each session you attended. 

There is a deadline to submit your evaluations for the sessions you attended. October 27th is the last day to submit evaluations. 

November 4th you should get an email with a link to your OPI renewal certificate for all sessions you attended at the conference. The ability to print your certificate will close January 31st.  

Evaluations provide proof of your attendance at in-person sessions.  

Yes, it is best to complete the evaluations by the deadline for proof you attended the session.  

You must have completed your registration and received a confirmation email before building your agenda. 

Please be sure to print your certificate for your records by January 31st.  

The presenter will have a sign-in sheet for you to sign.  

They will return it to the registration area and it will be added to your attendance record. 

You may have a session that is overlapping the one you are trying to add.  Uncheck it first to add the new session. 

Or

The session is full.

It is your responsibility to report your certificate to your district and to OPI.  

Make sure you are logged in to your account.  Then go to "My Conference" select the "build agenda".
