
The 2Partner Small Group Lesson Curriculum, or 2PSG, is a supplementary mathematics curriculum designed to provide either a preview or review of important mathematics concepts so that students can benefit more fully from Tier 1, core mathematics instruction. The 2PSG Lessons are intentionally designed to support both student and teacher learning. These lessons engage students and teachers in conceptual mathematics through the use of manipulatives, models, and visuals to support effective delivery by a range of educators, including classroom teachers, interventionists, tutors, or support persons.

The American Prairie Field School is creating early and enduring connections to Montana's prairie ecosystem. The Field School comprises education programs for grades K through 12, with overnight or day programs available depending on grade. The STEM curriculum connects students with experts and research scientists from Smithsonian Institute and American Prairie. Subjects vary and include natural and human history, astronomy, plant biology, wildlife ecology, and geology. All programs will align with NGSS Next Generation Science Standards.

The Life in the Land project is a series of films that hear from rural communities in Montana, as they share about the value in community-led and collaborative approaches within the landscape. Free lesson plans are available for middle school, high school, and college levels, for educators to incorporate a film and discussion into their classroom. These lessons allow students to see how the elements of a place (people, environment, economies, etc.) work together in Montana. This project applies to the following subjects: environmental science, natural resources, civics, social studies, agriculture, economics, community development, Indian Education for All, and more.

The Montana Department of Agriculture booth highlights the state’s efforts to prevent and manage invasive species through education and outreach. Visitors will find resources on identifying and controlling noxious weeds, along with information about the Eastern Heath Snail—an emerging invasive pest that threatens agriculture, native ecosystems, and trade. The booth emphasizes how individuals can take simple steps to protect Montana’s lands, whether through early detection, proper land management, or preventing the spread of pests.

The Montana Office of Public Instruction (OPI) is charged with the responsibility of providing technical assistance in: School Finance, School Law, Teacher Certification and Licensing, School Accreditation, Teaching and Learning Standards. The OPI staff administers a number of federally funded programs and provides a variety of information services, including the information systems necessary to assess student achievement and the quality of Montana’s elementary and secondary school systems.
